What can be done with checks: for fresh accounts, small checks up to $4-5k are deposited with a 3-business-day hold. If you let the account "age" properly (a solid couple of months) and give it goodactivity, it may start releasing funds by the evening of the same day and offer decent limits. However, due to the length of the aging process, it's not for everyone.
